GEKCO are here for Beast of Eden, this Saturday! You can try their sea-water extracted, high performance chalk and find out why they’re not just any old chalk. You can grab a sample of their loose and try out their resin-free liquid chalk too, completely free of charge!

After you’ve tried the classics, you’ll have to see why their world’s first innovation in chalk; COLD, is such a game changer! It may blow your mind a little bit.
This new hybrid of liquid and loose chalk gives you the same cooling and drying effect of a liquid chalk but in a loose format straight out of your chalk bag.

They also have some of their exclusive GEKCO branded merch; vests, tees and hoodies!

The countdown is well and truly on to Beast of Eden 2026, which is taking place this Saturday!!

Here’s some more info about how the day will run, where to park, and what you need to do before you come. You’ll need to have done a registration form and have access to Griptonite | 👊🏽 to enter the qualifiers. There’ll be a selection of categories to enter, but we are only able to offer finals to those who enter the open men’s and open women’s categories.

Remember, this isn’t a ticketed event, just turn up on Saturday, but free core t -shirts are first come first served, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Please park considerately and avoid blocking anyone in. We have an excellent alternative in that we are two minutes from Walkergate metro - just watch the video pinned at the top of our instagram page.

We can’t wait to see you. Get psyched.

There’s going to be a bit of setting disruption next week. This is due to our Open bouldering competition, the Beast of Eden, taking place on 26th Sept.

The comp wall (Haute tension and Kheops) will be completely stripped and be used for finals, and therefore be off limits for a couple of days.

We will also be circuit setting for the qualification problems, and therefore 30 problems around the main centre will be stripped. They are marked on the above map, so if your proj is on there, you have until the end of the day next Thursday to send it!

We’re sorry for any inconvenience! To make it up to you, not only will you have 30 new problems, plus the finals problems, we will be doing a double set next week too.
