Yoga is BACK tomorrow 10am at heaton community centre. It’s fair to say I’ve been absent the last few months from yoga, and found it difficult especially the past few weeks to juggle everything; moved into my first home whilst running a full time business myself that has encountered like many others lots of challenges due to COVID , thus a lot of things have had to take a slight back burner as I’ve not had the mental or emotional capacity or plain old hours in the day to keep up with everything. It’s not woe is me, rather just straight up transparency. I’m being reminded that I’m human and that it’s ok to say ‘this is all I can handle at the moment’ and not feel bad about it. Thanks for reading my ramble if you’ve made it this far and hope to see you in class 🙏

YOGA ON SATURDAYS 🥳🥳
•
After all of the zooming we are finally starting Ashtanga Yoga IN PERSON from heaton community centre starting June 12th June on Saturday mornings 10am - it’s a big space with plenty of room to socially distance. There is nothing that replicates the energy of a room of people practicing together in my opinion, so come along give it a go!
•
Beginners welcome. Drop me a message if you have any questions or would like to book a place.

All these months later I still haven’t perfected my ‘zoom’ face 🤣in all seriousness I can’t wait to teach in person again, no updates yet, but soon as I know I’ll be telling YOU. In the meantime yoga marches on however we can ✊

I’m not feelin’ the new year yet at all.
•
If you also aren’t feelin’ it yet just know that’s totally ok, don’t fake positivity to make others more comfortable.
•
I’ve found that joy and sadness can exist in the same moment, and it’s accessed through acceptance.
•
Accepting how you feel without judgement, instead try curiosity, will help you move through it and not stay stuck.
•
ALL feelings are valid and have a purpose if we pay attention.
•
So I invite you to practice feeling your feelings, allow space for whatever that is and gently ask questions like why am I feeling this way? What do I need now?
•
Your feelings, much like your body, will always be changing, so don’t get too attached to one ideal outcome, or state, learn to flow with it. It’s all perfect. It all is.
