Hardrock FC: Time to Write a New Chapter Against Dynamos FC

As Hardrock FC prepares to face the mighty Dynamos FC on Sunday 31 May, the spirit of Zimbabwean football history should inspire every player, coach, and supporter. Football has always been about courage, belief, and creating unforgettable moments and history shows that giants can fall.

Back in the golden days of Zimbabwe football, Lancashire Steel FC from Kwekwe shocked the nation by becoming the only team to hammer Dynamos with six goals in the newly established ZPSL. The legendary โ€œChimbi Chimbi Boysโ€ proved that determination, teamwork, and fearless football can overcome even the biggest clubs in the country. They also became the first team to win the Madison Cup and scored more than 100 goals in a single Division One season in 1994.

Those achievements were not built on fear โ€” they were built on confidence, passion, and fighting for the badge.

Hardrock FC now has the opportunity to channel that same fighting spirit. Sundayโ€™s match is more than just another fixture; it is a chance to make supporters believe, to fight for pride, and to show Zimbabwe football that Hardrock FC is ready to compete with the best.

The players must enter the pitch with hunger and discipline. Every tackle, every pass, and every attack must carry the belief that victory is possible. Dynamos may have history and reputation, but football is won on the field not on paper.

Supporters also have a huge role to play. Just like the fans who filled Baghdad Stadium to watch the legendary Lancashire Steel stars such as Petros โ€œGalaโ€ Sibanda, Hardrock FC fans must rally behind their team with energy and unity. Passion from the stands can lift players beyond their limits.

Sunday 31 May can become another memorable football story.

Hardrock FC, believe in yourselves. Fight for the badge. Fight for the fans. Fight for history.

The opportunity is there go and make Zimbabwe football remember your name.

After 13 matches, they sit at the top of the league table with 27 points, tied with CAPS United but ahead on goal difference. Their record of 8 wins, 3 draws and only 2 defeats shows consistency, discipline, and attacking power.
