*Important Information*

This weekend (Sat 24th / Sun 25th) we have the walkway blocked off between the 2 buildings again.

Entry to the school is via the red entrances and to the sports centre is via the green entrances.

There is also a gymnastics competition this weekend so car parks will be busier than usual.

Thank you for your continued cooperation as we work through the final two months of the major decarbonisation scheme currently underway.

Access to the sports centre is via the 2 green entrances and access to the school corridor is via the 2 red entrances marked on the map.

It's back! Sign up now for the Big School Swim 2022 Schools can now sign up for a nationwide week-long celebration of swimming and water safety which is returning for the first time in three years.

Britain seal stunning silver on opening night of European Championships Great Britain won their first medal of the European Aquatics Championships thanks to stunning swim from the Women’s 4x200m Freestyle Relay team.

Brits close out Commonwealth diving with double gold Britain’s divers provided an unforgettable finale to the aquatics programme at the Commonwealth Games by sealing two gold medals and one silver across the last two events of the competition.

Covid Update

Despite the government’s decision to relax current COVID restrictions, Swimtech have decided to extend all our existing COVID measures. We have made this decision based on the fact that transmission and infection rates are continuing to increase significantly in the North East.

We thank you for your continued support during this challenging time, and we will continue to regularly review our COVID measures.

A few reminders: If you feel unwell or have any recognised Covid -19 signs please stay at home.

Please can you wear face masks when possible.

Take outdoor shoes off and leave in entrance (bring flip flops or go barefoot)

Changing Rooms:
Take temperature, swimmers come 'beach ready'. Take clothes with you on poolside or pop in bag and leave on hook in changing rooms.

Poolside:
Please pick up envelope and make payment in the box. (New swimmers & late payments).

Seating is allocated to 1 side of pool (please go to seat furthest away with swimmer until the start of lesson). 1 adult per swimmer/s.

You may be asked to attach/remove a SwimFin.

After Lesson:
No shower and please Minimise time in changing room.
