It is with considerable sadness that the upcoming Bob Fox and Billy Mitchell concert has fallen victim to the Covid 19 concert.

Coming to The Stan on Thursday 9th April ...two musical legends from the North East.
Billy Mitchell - long time front man from Lindisfarne : the Lindisfarne Story : singer songwriter from Jack the Lad as well as part of the hugely successful comic duo , Maxi and Mitch. Billy has been entertaining crowds throughout the UK for the last 50 years and has just finished a sell out tour with the Pitman Poets.
Bob Fox - One of the most highly rated folk singers and guitarists in the country , Bob has achieved great success both as a solo artiste and in collaboration with musicians such as Tom McConville , Benny Graham and most famously , Stu Luckley. Their album ‘Nowt as good’ll pass ‘ won the prestigious Folk Album of the year award and they went on to pack out concert halls and festivals for many years.
Apart from his solo career , Bob has performed for the last decade as Songman in the award winning musical play Warhorse gaining much acclaim for that role.
This is a unique chance to see these two highly talented musicians together in what will be a night of great humour , nostalgia and top notch music.
