U12 Wideopen Wildcats

It’s a big update today!

A massive well done to the U12 Wideopen Wildcats for finishing third in the Northumberland Football League this season 👏 Lots to be proud of this season with some epic goals, great teamwork and lots of learning to take into next season!

Today’s game saw the team win 1-0, with a super goal from Sophia 🙌 and fantastic goal keeping from Emily and Ayla (thanks for covering for Poppy whilst she was away)🧤.

Today we also say goodbye to two of our wonderful coaches, Simon and Ben. It’s time for them to hang up their whistle for U12s football coaching and we can’t thank them enough for all the love and energy they’ve given the team over the years. Memories we’ll all treasure.

And finally, today was Alice’s last game for the team as she moves on to develop her football career. Alice has always given her all to the team and we’re going to miss her! Can’t wait to see what she goes on to achieve 🏆.

So proud of our U12 Wideopen Wildcats today! Very worthy runners up in the Northumberland Football League Cup Final.

They came back from 2-0 down at half time to make it 2-2, but were unlucky to lose 3-2 in the end.

Every player was outstanding, with impressive goals coming from Ayla and Sophia 👏

Our Keeper, Poppy, was also awarded Player of the Match 🏆

The cold and wind didn’t stop the U12 Wideopen Wildcats this morning. They took the win 3-0, thanks to some great passing and grit. Two super goals from Ayla 👏 and a strong penalty by Ella 💪

What a return to football today for the U12 Wideopen Wildcats. A well earned 1-0 win against a strong side. Everyone worked hard, and Sophia found the back of the net with a super strike! 👏

After a few weeks away from football, due to fixtures and the weather, the U12 Wideopen Wildcats were back today with a bang. A 6-1 win! Well done to the whole team 😄

A super 5-1 win today for the U12 Wideopen Wildcats! They battled hard in windy conditions, taking the win after going 1-0 down soon after the starting whistle. Lots of grit and team work today 👏
