running every Saturday from 10am - 11am until the end of August

Its been a busy weekend for our West End teams, Its been a while since we have been able to say that.

This weekend saw a great performance from the Jags, the Warriors edge over the line in a 9 goal thriller, some closely contested draws, the continuation of the Magpies unbeaten run and Our U16 unfortunatley bowing out of the county cup semi final narrowly loosing on penalties.

Well Done to everyone, We would also like to give a massive shout out and thanks to the volunteer referees who had to step in and cover many of our fixtures as there was a mass of unavailable referees this weekend.

We still have a number of matches that need a referee this weekend if you know anyone who is available to help out.

A look ahead to this weekends fixture schedule after months of ongoing postponements, and delays we have plenty of football to play.

The frustration goes on, As most would have expected the continued wet and cold weather have proved too much once again for the pitches and they have been deemed unsafe to play on this weekend.

These decisions are tough to make and never made lightly but they are made with the best interests of all participants at all times.

We along with many clubs across the North East have been hit badly by the postponements and cancellations but we appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

The run in for the final months of the season is certainly going to be busy and we look forward to seeing everybody back at West End as soon as possible.
