North East Guides was very proud to organise another Challenge Walk for the wonderful people raising money for recently on part of the Northumberland Coastal Path / King Charles III England Coast Path. The weather was absolutely lush. Sandy beaches. Lots of bird life. Lizards. Iconic castles. And a tasty pint at the end. Well done to all the inspirational participants for making it to the end. You are all amazing.

Are you ready? Summer time is just around the corner, and the warmer weather and longer days means one thing: we are all going on some MASSIVE ADVENTURES.

Did you have a good time last year, but there’s some skills you want to develop further? Have you relied on your phone apps a little too much and got yourself into a spot of bother?

It was our great pleasure to spend the day with the inspiring people representing . This was a tremendous day out in Upper Teesdale, with sights including Gibson’s Cave, and the spectacular Low Force and High Force waterfalls. The rain certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm or spirit. Well done to everyone for completing another brilliant Challenge Walk.
The Greggs Foundation is a brilliant and essential charity which addresses the issues of poverty and inequality across the UK.

A late evening spent in the wilds of Upper Teesdale.
This intense 5-hour night session starts off with a refresher of basic navigation techniques before the sun goes down, followed by a few hours of micro-nav, pacing, hand railing, attack points, aiming off, and relocation techniques.
