At BIF, we’re always looking for ways to make our space safer, more welcoming and more inclusive.

One of those ways is using the correct pronouns.

If you’d like us to know your pronouns, we’d love for you to add them to your account. While you’re there, please also take a moment to check your emergency contact details are up to date.

⚠️ Important: Please do this through the website rather than the app, as updates made in the app don’t currently show for instructors.

To update:
πŸ’– Log in via the timetable on our website
πŸ’– Add your pronouns alongside your surname
πŸ’– Check your emergency contact details

It should only take a couple of minutes, but it helps us get things right and look after our community.

Thank you for helping us create a space where people feel seen, respected and supported. πŸŒˆπŸ’–

A little update from behind the scenes at BIF πŸ’–

Firstly, thank you to everyone who completed our recent anonymous feedback survey. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and it was lovely to read so many comments about the community, coaching and atmosphere we’ve built together.

As always, we’re listening to both your feedback and the data to help shape what comes next.

Some recent timetable changes include:

πŸ’– NO SHRINKING is now a permanent part of the timetable every Monday at 6:30pm.

πŸ’ͺ Friday Morning Powerlifting is taking a break over the summer. (This Friday will be the last one for a while)
This will become a Friday Morning Strength session instead, with optional powerlifting elements still included for those who enjoy them.

πŸ’– We’re also working on new workshops and courses, with more information to come soon.

We’re currently looking for additional instructors to join the team, particularly pre & postnatal instructors, strength coaches and PTs who genuinely align with our values and ethos.

If that sounds like you, or somebody you know, I’d love to hear from you. Please email [email protected] πŸ“§

And if you know someone who might be interested, sharing this post would mean the world. 🌈

Thank you for helping shape BIF into what it is becoming. The future feels exciting. πŸ’–

πŸ’– We’re looking for a Pre & Postnatal Personal Trainer πŸ’–

Body Image Fitness is growing, and we’re looking for a qualified pre and postnatal coach to join our team from September.

We’re looking for someone who:

✨ Holds a recognised pre and postnatal qualification
✨ Is passionate about helping people feel stronger and more confident during pregnancy and after birth
✨ Understands that movement is about more than changing bodies
✨ Can create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment
✨ Shares our values around accessibility, body acceptance and no diet culture

The role would involve delivering small group postnatal strength sessions, with potential opportunities for pregnancy and 1:1 coaching in the future.

About us:

🌈 Inclusive and weight-neutral
🌈 LGBTQ+ affirming
🌈 Neurodiversity affirming
🌈 No diet culture
🌈 Small groups and community-focused coaching

This is likely to suit someone looking for a few hours initially, with room to grow as demand increases.

If this sounds like you (or someone you know), we’d love to hear from you.

πŸ“§ Email [email protected] with a little bit about yourself, your qualifications and your experience.

Please feel free to share. πŸ™πŸΌ

This week was full of brilliant moments, but if I’m honest, it was also one of those weeks where I got so caught up in looking after everyone and everything else that I forgot to look after myself.

If you’re also neurodivergent, self-employed, a parent, or just a human trying to juggle too many things at once, you’re not alone.

Sometimes success looks like growth.

Sometimes success looks like getting through the week.

This week looked a bit like both. πŸ’–
