Luke’s decision making on the ball was excellent today, playing with purpose and being really direct with his passing.

He caused problems out wide all game, beating his full-back numerous times and delivering some brilliant, dangerous balls into the box.

Fantastic work rate at both ends of the pitch too, with his movement and awareness constantly helping him find space and get involved.

A gritty performance in midfield from Travis today, closing down quickly, winning his defensive battles and helping us come away with the ball.

On the ball he was creative, picking out some excellent first-time passes to catch the opposition out, while also showing the confidence to drive forward and beat players.

Another positive run out for the lads today with some really good football played throughout 👏

Lovely and tidy on the ball, showing good decision making and composure when building from the back, while also looking dangerous when breaking quickly on the counter.

The lads adapted well defensively as the game went on and created some really good chances going the other way.

Technical ability, fitness and tactical awareness are all starting to piece together nicely as we keep building towards the competitive games 💪⚽

Would love to see Travis’ heat map from today — he seemed to cover every blade of grass 😂

He was everywhere both on and off the ball, helping win possession back, making things difficult for the opposition and constantly getting involved in attacking areas.

Some fantastic goals today as well, alongside some brilliant link-up play around the box.

Wicks was brilliant today with his link-up play, work rate and decision making on the ball.

He chased everything down, knew when to play and who to find, and was a real threat further up the pitch.

He also threaded some excellent through balls in behind which caused problems throughout the game.

𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗠 – Karlo 🔥

Another commanding performance from Karlo at the back today. He won his aerial duels and physical battles all game, breaking up attacks and giving the opposition striker very little opportunity to bring the ball down and play.

He also organised the defensive line brilliantly and covered danger really well. In a game where we had less possession, his concentration and decision-making had to be on point throughout, and they certainly were.

𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗠 – Ricky 🔥

Ricky dominated the right-hand side today, driving the team forward by beating his defender, playing some excellent direct passes and linking up brilliantly with his full-back to create numerous attacking opportunities.

His intensity out of possession was just as impressive, pressing aggressively to win the ball back before showing great composure to finish and score his goal.
