We are excited to announce our final talk of the year from SEM registrar Dr Montana Jackson!

She will be talking to us about what a sports medicine training pathway looks like and advice on how to make your application stand out !

Call for committee nominations!! Most roles currently have no applicants so if you want to be on a committee next year NSEMS would be a great place to start!

The following positions must be elected via the NUSU website:

President
Secretary
Treasurer
Social Sec
Welfare Officer

To nominate yourself, you must be a paid member of NSEMS for this academic year. You must then nominate yourself via the NUSU website by selecting your desired role and uploading a photo of yourself and a short manifesto.

The nomination period is now to the 20th April. Voting then takes place between the 21st and 24th April on the NUSU website.

We’re back with our first event of semester 3! We are going to be hearing from Dr Jack Gentle and his experience in the SEM field working at NUFC! We can’t wait to see you there!

We will be having our AGM on 7th May at 6pm over zoom where we will vote in the new committee.

You asked for more sports taping so we’re happy to say we’re going to be having another session on Tuesday 3rd December in Clinical skills 6:30-8pm! This time we’re going to focus on shoulder and ankle taping!
