The committee would like to invite our current paid and previous members to join an Emergency General Meeting on Sunday 17th December at 6pm at the Tyneside Badminton Centre.

Steve Porter will attend the meeting as representative of Northumberland Badminton Association.

Please note: Previous club members are welcome to join the meeting too, but only the current paid club members can vote.

If any of our regulars/members would like the chance of playing in our Premier team would they please contact the Captain, Kieran Purvis by email on [email protected] or Facebook messenger if you have his information. It may be that you can be a reserve or full player in this team or play up from a lower grade - we need you so please don’t be shy. Jude Dawson, Chairman. We currently have the option to move our club to the Northumberland Club in Jesmond from January.

This poll is to gauge opinion of whether members would prefer to move or to stay at the Tyneside Badminton Centre.

Both venues have advantages and disadvantages. The Northumberland Club in Jesmond is more easily accessible on public transport with West Jesmond metro station being a 7 minute walk away and the club has a bar! Tyneside Badminton Centre is a purpose built venue.

Sunday 19 November. MIXED A match tonight. Only one court available until they are finished. If we get enough visitors we can perhaps hire another if available.
