A quick video showing a HIIT cardio session on the boxing gloves I did last week with 3 of my clients at the end of a weight lifting session.
Boxing is a great form of cardio that I love using with clients who aren't to keen on CV equipment. It makes cardio a little bit more exciting letting you blow of steam while burning calories. You develop cold sweats as you have to concentrate on your routine instead of how tired you are. Before you know it you've done 1 minute of cardio at 80% of your maximum heart rate.

Thought I would share a post about goal setting because I have been working on this a lot with clients recently and it has been extremely beneficial.
The SMART target acronym is a great way to get started and make sure your goal setting is efficient and effective.
Whether the goals are super short term or way off in the future it is crucial you have set some. They will help you stay on track and give you a great sense of achievement when you have accomplished them.

Got bored doing cardio today so decided to have a go on the skipping rope. Remember to keep changing up your workouts so you don't get comfortable. You don't make big progress in your comfort zone!

Buzzing to get started with online PT. It's gonna be a great way to help track my clients progress but will hopefully open up PT to a whole new group of people
Kettle bell swings: this is the foundation of most kettle bell movements and is one of my favourite functional training exercises. The key is to summon the power from your legs and let the momentum drive the kettle bell upwards without using so much of your upper body. Squeeze your flutes at the top of the movement for maximum effectiveness.
