NCU U19 Girls win by 167 runs to win the U19 Interpros and complete the double after winning U16 Interpros on Saturday. Great signs of Women and Girls Cricket progressing in the NCU 🏏

Changes to Junior Training 🏏

U13s, U15s and U17s training will take place on Tuesday 14th July this week (6.30 - 7.45). This will allow us to make sure enough coaches are available.

Girls/Womens training will still take place on Thursday evening (16th). Junior girls can attend both sessions.

U11s & Minis training will still take place on Saturday mornings (9.30 - 10.30).

If you are still wanting to sign your kids up please bring them along.

Dundrum Select XI vs Royal County Down Golf Club XI 🏏

On Friday 26th June a Dundrum CC Select XI took on a Royal County Down Golf Club XI. On a beautiful summers evening Dundrum batted first and scored 213 for 7 from their 20 overs.

In reply the RCD team put on a fantastic run chase falling narrowly short by 29 runs on 184 for 9. Peter Calvert was the stand out smashing 40 from only 23 balls.

A great game of cricket enjoyed by players and supporters. The evening entertainment continued after the game as the players from both teams made their way to the Dundrum Inn.

The Women team secured a thrilling 6 run victory over Waringstown 2nd XI on Monday evening 🏏

Dundrum scored 136 in the first innings. The highlight was Charlie Shilliday scoring her maiden fifty (50* from 48 balls). She was supported by Lucy Gunson (34*) and Ayla Boyd (16*).

In the second innings Dundrum picked up two quick wickets through Rachel Hodge (1-27) and Lucy Gunson (1-12). This left Waringstown 8 for 2.

But the Waringstown team fought back through Cara Rainey 50* and Rachael Harrison 25 to set up an exciting finish.

With 14 needed from the final over Sarah Herron held her nerve as Dundrum emerged winners by 6 runs.

A fantastic result for the young Dundrum team.

Junior Training is OFF tonight! Ground very wet from rain today and more heavy rain is forecast for later tonight.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Our Women XI put in a fantastic performance tonight to defeat CSNI 2nd XI by 10 wickets.

Dundrum restricted CSNI to 116 in the first innings. Lucy Gunson was the pick of the bowlers as she finished with 2 for 17 from her four overs. She was backed up by her fellow bowlers and some fantastic fielding.

In the second innings Niamh Lowry 52* and Joscelyn Wright 50* put on a clinical display to help Dundrum chase down the total.
