📡⚠️ NETWORK UPDATE — SUNDAY’S SESSION ⚠️📡

Just a quick heads-up ahead of 🔥 THE FUSION EVOLVES 🔥 at Newent Lake this Sunday.

There is currently planned network maintenance affecting the GL18 1AN area, which means I may experience problems with calls, texts and mobile data while I’m at the lake.

Because of this, my usual live Facebook updates, catch reports and photos may be delayed or limited during the session.

🎣 But the session is still going ahead!

I’ll still be fishing, filming, taking photos and recording everything that happens throughout Episode 04. If the signal disappears, I’ll get the updates posted as soon as I’ve got a reliable connection again.

So if things seem a little quiet on the page on Sunday, don’t worry — THE FUSION EVOLVES is still happening. 🔥🎣

📡 The network provider currently expects service in the area to be back to normal by 6:00 PM on Wednesday 30 September 2026.

🔥🎣 SESSION 3 — THE FUSION BUILDS 🎣🔥

Well… they can’t all be red-letter days.

Today was a hard and tricky day on the bank at Newent Lake, fishing Peg 15 for THE MINDSET ERA — Episode 03: 🔥 THE FUSION BUILDS 🔥.

We were underway at 06:10, and early signs gave me plenty of confidence. Fish were swirling close to the right rod, while both rods gave us several indications throughout the morning.

But the runs just didn’t come.

As the day progressed and things went quiet, it was time to adapt. The Mindset Baits Fusion White presentations were switched over to Fusion Pink, giving both rods a fresh approach for the afternoon.

We had another indication at 14:32, followed by one final bit of activity from the right rod at 18:00…

But still no proper run.

⭕ Blank: Yes
🔥 Fusion 10 Challenge: 0/10

The Fusion 10 Challenge remains untouched. Four presentations went into battle today — White Pop-Up, White Wafter, Pink Pop-Up and Pink Wafter — but a tick only comes when a carp hits the bank. 🎯

No excuses. No pretending it was something it wasn’t.

Today the carp won.

But even a blank gives you information, and I’ll take what I learned from Peg 15 into the next session.

I’m heading back to Newent Lake for Session 3 / Episode 03, and today marks the beginning of something completely new.

The Right Rod was away once again, producing Carp No.4, a 6lb 7oz Common Carp. It might be the smallest of today’s four, but what a way to bring Episode 02 to a close. 🐟🔥

As the evening approached, the Right Rod was away again, producing my third Common Carp of the day — another cracking fish weighing 15lb 3oz. 🐟💪
