We are saddened to report the tragic and untimely passing of Simon Gurney.

Simon played in the back row and was renowned for his committed performances. He also played a full part in after match activities and especially a number of tours.

He was later, together with his wife Debbie, involved in coaching and helping to run the junior section. More recently he became a club Vice President and could often be found on The Tump at home games.

Simon will be missed by those who played and socialised with him, and our thoughts , as always are with his family at this time.

Funeral details will be forwarded when known.
