We offer a competitive salary, generous pool money and pension contributions.

The role includes working every other weekend, with an additional evening off during the week.

George Boughey Racing is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Person to join our team at Craven House Stables in Newmarket.

This is a hands-on, highly responsible position helping oversee the smooth daily running of the yard. The ideal candidate will be confident managing staff, maintaining high standards of horse care and playing an important role within a young and ambitious operation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the yard
* ⁠Riding out
* Maintaining the highest standards of horse welfare and stable management
* Liaising with the trainer regarding horse health, progress and routines
* Managing vet and farrier visits
* Preparing horses for exercise, racing and transport
* Upholding a safe, tidy and professional working environment

⚡ Bow Echo continued his preparation under Billy Loughnane for the St James’s Palace Stakes this morning, which is now just two weeks away.

It’s a rare and exciting to have the English, Irish and French 2000 Guineas winners all set to line up at Royal Ascot and we’re very really pleased with how he is training heading into it.
