Thank you Royal Ascot and Ryan Moore. Here's to see what is raised this year!

Royal Ascot 2026 will mark the third and final year of RoR’s partnership with Ascot Racecourse Supports.

Over the first two years, the initiative has already raised £65,000 for RoR, with £30,000 raised in 2024 and £35,000 raised in 2025.

This year, Ascot Racecourse Supports will once again donate £5,000 to RoR for every winner ridden by Ryan Moore during Royal Ascot week, from 16 to 20 June.

We are hugely grateful to Ascot Racecourse Supports for its continued support and for using one of racing’s biggest stages to champion former racehorses and life after racing.

A huge thank you also to Ryan Moore, whose success at Royal Ascot has helped raise such valuable funds for RoR. We wish Ryan the very best of luck for this year’s meeting.

Good luck to the RoR folks competing at Suffolk County Show on Thursday, another hot day but if I remember rightly the flat classes are early in the morning and the Challenge isn’t too late in the day.

Reminder that this is this weekend; ideal if you'd like last minute tips and help before South Suffolk Show next weekend or just looking to get help before your showing season this summer.

Both Jody and Abi judge for RoR regularly, Jody doing big shows (he was a ride judge at Royal Windsor just a couple of years ago) so is really a great person to help you with how to get the best from your go round to catch the judges eye, as well as put on a punchy ridden show to wow the judges.

Show Folks of Newmarket - RoR Qualifying Classes (Open In Hand and Amateur Ridden) are taking place next weekend at WORLINGTON RIDING CLUB Spring Show on Sunday 19th April.

More details on that group or on their Facebook. Entries close on Sunday so membership numbers can be checked with RoR so please do get your entries in.
