It's another cold day and with a really strong wind it feels much colder. The horses have all been out cantering on the Round and Rubbing House canters and things are running smoothly. With Cheltenham starting tomorrow so does our tipping competition and hopefully we will be able to point you in the right direction of the winners. Here is the daily news for Monday 11th March

It's going to be another unbelievably warm day. The sun is shining and the horses look wonderful. We are having to use the polytracks for our exercises as the turf canters are beginning to ride a bit firmer. This weather won't last and I'm sure before long the rain will set in. After another very unseasonal day we are out on the heath cantering with the string. We will be having a very busy few days starting with a runner today at Lingfield. Astrosparkle runs in the 4.05 and will be handicapped after this run. Over the weekend we will be covering three more mares. We have one runner today at Southwell. Astrojewel runs in the 3 o'clock, the 7f handicap. She is a course and distance winner and we are very hopeful of a really good run from her in this reasonably competitive race.
