Red Lodge Karting Ltd Red Lodge Karting is the East of England’s largest premier outdoor circuit. Established in 1994. They’re all guaranteed to give you a day to remember!

Fully floodlit in the evenings, our Full Track is just under 1200m and even includes a shorter, 700m track to keep the racing close for smaller groups. We have a fleet of karts which range from our nippy and nimble GX160 Cadets up to our rapid Corporate GX270s. One of our aims is to make karting as safe as possible. Every driver is provided with full safety gear including a race suit, full-face helmet and gloves. To ensure everyone knows what they’re doing on track, all drivers receive a comprehensive safety briefing before their session. All karts are checked and maintained daily by our experienced technicians. Also, Race Marshals oversee all karting sessions and ensure everybody on track is driving at a safe standard. Thanks to our cutting edge, web-based timing system, you can view your results and track your lap-times online accurate to 100th of a second! Located just off the A11, we’re roughly 10-minutes away from Newmarket, Mildenhall and Elveden and only around 20-minutes from Bury st Edmunds, Cambridge and Ely.

Bike Night returns next Monday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm, with the circuit lit up for an evening of dedicated track time.

For this event, Red Lodge Karting is welcoming bigger bikes alongside pit bikes and mini motos. Sessions will be scheduled separately for the different bike sizes, helping everyone enjoy appropriate track time throughout the evening.

Whether you are working on your lap times, testing your bike or simply looking for controlled track time, this is your chance to get out there.

Please register your interest as soon as possible and check places and eligibility requirements with the Red Lodge Karting team before attending.

Autumn evenings do not mean putting your plans on hold.

Our outdoor circuit is floodlit, which means the racing can continue as the evenings draw in. We also operate in most weather conditions, with wet weather suits available when needed.

Think you have what it takes to race against other karting enthusiasts?

Our next Open Race takes place this Thursday, 17 September. It is a full-race event using our fastest fleet of Corporate GX270 karts, with qualifying, two heats, and a final.

No equipment is required, and you do not need previous race experience. You simply need to feel confident behind the wheel and be ready for 35 laps of competitive karting.

Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place.

🏁 Driver Tip

One of the biggest mistakes new drivers make is trying to carry too much speed into the chicane.

Brake a little earlier, stay smooth and focus on getting a clean exit rather than flying into the corner.

Sometimes slowing down slightly is actually the fastest way around the track.
