アメリカ育ちのドイツ人。子供の頃家族で行った競馬場で騎手のかっこよさに憧れ、この世界へ。15歳でドイツで見習い騎手になり、その後アメリカでアシスタントトレーナーをしながらモンティ･ロバーツに師事。26歳でドイツの獣医大学へ。卒業後、ニューマーケットの馬診療所でインターンをしながら各厩舎で勉強。そして2012年8月に開業。初出走初勝ち、2戦目も勝利と最高のスタートを切りました。
