It was very nice to have a visit (and to shoot with) Almansour Abdulaziz on Saturday who came all the way from Kuwait. A trap shooter and ISSF coach, with more medals than Michael Phelps, he tried Sporting for a change and said that it was like a nice spring day here and they shoot in 50 degrees in the summer. Nice Zoli too!

I watched a YouTube clip recently where a well known shooter "serviced" his gun. The stock was removed, brake cleaner!! ...

I watched a YouTube clip recently where a well known shooter "serviced" his gun. The stock was removed, brake cleaner!! sprayed all over the action and the stock put back on. At Peter Gardner Gunsmith a full service is a complete strip down, inspect and clean every part, report/attend to anything that needs attention, lubricate, reassemble and test with live ammunition. This ensures all parts are in good order, including the ones that cant be seen from simply removing the woodwork. Photos show a gun that came in recently that the owner thought had been "cleaned" elsewhere.
