A huge well done to Wayne and Lewis for Man of the Match👏

Matthew Palmer, first teams Manager said “Player of the week this week was a close one between a few but we gave it to WAYNE Roberts who was immense in everything he had to do at the back.”

⚽️🔵SIFIL RESERVES RESULTS 🔵⚽️

⚽️ SIFIL RESERVES 4 - 1 NEWPORT CORINTHIANS 3RDS ⚽️

Huge win for the reserves 🥳

After losing the last 3 games, the team bounced back with a huge win away to Newport Corinthians 3rds 💪

From start to finish, the team looked in control of the game and was creating the better of the chances and in the end got what the performance deserved.

Every single player who was on the pitch was absolutely outstanding and they deserve the massive 3 points they gained this week 👌

We go again on Saturday with all the confidence from securing these 3 points🙌

As always, a huge thank you to our sponsors and supporters for their continued backing 🤝

⚽️💙FIRST TEAM RESULTS💙⚽️

⚽️ SIFIL AFC 1 - 1 GRAIG VILLA DINO ⚽️

First Team welcomed Graig Villa Dino to Shannon close.

After the cup triumph last week, we were looking to build on that against an inform Villa Dino side!

Dinos came flying out of the blocks, and in doing so, gained a penalty from which they scored.

Sifil then reacted and started coming into the game which was rewarded by a lovely finish from Lewis, and could’ve probably been just in front with chances missed before halftime but some great saves from the Dino GK.

Second half both teams had chances to probably win the game so overall a point each was a fair result for both teams. 👏

Thank you for dinos for coming in afterwards for the refreshments and good luck until we see you later in the season.

Player of the week this week was a close one between a few but we gave it to Wayne Roberts, who was calm and commanding in everything he had to do at the back 👏💪

We go again on Saturday with lessons and learning to take with us 🙌

As always a huge thank you to our sponsors and supporters for their continued backing 🤝

⚽️ FIRST TEAM | SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER 🔵⚪️

A weekend to forget across the Senior section, with the First Team also suffering a disappointing result on Saturday.

Coming off the back of what had been a really positive start to the season, this was simply one of those days where things didn’t click.

Credit to the opposition, who put in a spirited performance, stayed solid at the back and punished us when the opportunities came.

No excuses and no dwelling on it. We take the lessons, chalk it up as a bad day at the office and move on.

Plenty more football still to come. 💪🔵⚪️
