A brilliant result for our Reserves, with every single one of the lads giving 110% against a very good, well-organised side. 💪⚽

It was an end-to-end game with some really good football played and a huge team effort from start to finish. The lads dug deep, worked for each other and fully deserved the win. 👏💙

An outstanding defensive display from Harvey, matched by an incredible work rate getting up and down the pitch throughout the game. A top performance! 👏🔥

Another really strong display from the First Team, coming away with a 3–1 win over Marshfield. 💪⚽

The lads looked comfortable and in control for large parts of the game, creating plenty of chances while staying well organised and solid throughout. Marshfield’s goal came from the penalty spot deep into injury time, but aside from that, we limited them to very little.

A number of players could have been in contention for MOTM after a great all-round team performance.

🧤 Special mention to Christian Ratto, who produced a huge penalty save at a pivotal point in the game, as well as being a commanding and assured presence between the sticks throughout.

⭐ MAN OF THE MATCH – ASHTON HOBBS ⭐

A superbly solid performance from Ashton. He did the basics exceptionally well, dealt with crosses, made important clearances, and helped keep Marshfield’s threat to a minimum. His performance summed up the team as a whole – organised, disciplined, and dependable. 👏

That’s now BACK-TO-BACK WINS and some great momentum building as we head into Saturday’s local derby, with the opportunity to make it three wins from three. 👀🔥

⚽️ FULL TIME | FIRST TEAM 🔵⚪️

A dominant display from the lads and a performance that was rewarded with six goals.

From start to finish, we enjoyed huge spells of possession and territory, spending long periods in the opposition half and controlling the game.

Despite that dominance, we found ourselves 1-0 down in the first half following a breakaway goal against the run of play.

But there was no panic.

The lads stuck to the process, maintained their shape, structure, and discipline, and continued to play the way we had set out to play.

That patience paid off. 💪

We kept plugging away, created the chances, and ultimately hit six goals — a real testament to the character, determination, and belief within this group.

The result takes us to four points from our opening nine available and gives us our strongest start to a league campaign in the post-Covid era. 👏

Plenty still to work on, but a really positive performance and another step in the right direction.

A point on the road, but one that feels like a defeat after racing into a 3-0 lead. We showed plenty of quality going forward and looked in complete control, but credit to Pentwynmawr for fighting their way back into the game.
