What a day for our men’s 1st team yesterday! They beat Windsor with a convincing 6-0 win to secure promotion to Prem 1 for the first time in 10 years! 💙

This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and commitment from every player this season. What makes it even more special is the homegrown talent at the heart of this team. Seeing players progress through our junior program into senior teams is what our club is all about.

Congratulations to everyone involved, you’ve made the whole club proud 🌟

Huge 4-2 win for our ladies 3rd team today against DL Cardiff to secure back-to-back promotion! 🏆

What a great season it’s been, all the hard work, determination, and team spirit has paid off!! 🥇

A brilliant evening for our ladies 1st team at Rhiwbina with a 4-2 win 🌟

A special mention has to go to our two juniors Darcey and Amber, who both stepped up and picked up 3 wins between them 💪 they both played with confidence, battled hard, and were an absolute pleasure to watch 👏 💛

To top off a great evening, we bumped into Ruth Jones… and after a quick chat we’re pleased to announce a new member of the AYY ladies 1st 👀 🎣 💅

A fantastic day for our juniors, with so many players stepping up and representing the club with pride.

Our U14 boys produced some excellent tennis in hot conditions against a strong and experienced Windsor team. They competed brilliantly from the first point to the last, showing great determination, resilience and teamwork. Every player gave their all and can be proud of the way they represented the club. It was another valuable learning experience against quality opposition.

Congratulations also to Drew, who made his junior debut. It’s fantastic to see another young player taking that next step and gaining valuable experience in team tennis.

There was more exciting news on the senior courts too, with OJ, Tommy and Zack all representing our Men’s 2nd team against a strong Penarth side. Facing experienced opposition, the boys showed great maturity, confidence and above all, talent throughout the match.

The future of men’s tennis at the club is looking incredibly bright, with so many talented juniors making the transition into senior tennis. A huge well done to all of our players for their efforts and commitment this weekend!
