Fun, fitness and football for children from 18 mths to 8yrs. The result?

Football is the currency of the school yard. At Little Kickers we provide young boys and girls with a positive, fun introduction to sport in a pressure free environment. We aim to help children discover the rewards of regular structured physical exercise , laying the foundation for fit, active and healthy lives. Our programme, which has been developed by FA qualified coaches and nursery school teachers with input from child health specialists, involves activities with lots of turn taking and touches - we get the children up, moving and actively involved for as much of the session as possible. Optimum growth at an individual rate within a group environment. Co-ordination, agility and balance as well as sharing, turn taking, teamwork/camaraderie and listening to instructions are developed; real football skills are introduced and pre-school concepts such as number, colour and creative play are built in. As children progress, we teach them not just how to perform a skill but also start building an understanding as to why a skill is needed. This helps children apply learnt skills into general game and other subsequent scenarios. So if you have a budding football star or simply want a happier, healthier more confident child, why not give us a try?

No classroom required.

Just a football, plenty of patience and someone who knows exactly when a child needs a little encouragement. ⚽

Today we celebrate all the different ways great teachers make a difference.
