🐟 Spawning update 🐟

The fish have been spawning heavily here since the weekend. I have not seen any more activity yesterday, nor today, but who am I to say they have finished 👀

We have remained closed throughout the week, giving the stock freedom to partake in their activity, without the added stress. Prior to spawning the lake fished pretty well, some nice fish were caught 🎣

We are open tomorrow as usual, but with limited availability. We will obviously monitor the situation, but also rely on anglers to use some etiquette whilst on the bank. Don't start casting to spawning fish please!

Multiple trees down over the past few weeks! 🌪🌧

Definitely a combination of strong winds, and bank erotion, never seen so many in the lake. Water levels here have been very high this year. Well, all tidied up for now atleast...

Please be careful between pegs 6/7, we still need to decide what to do with the stump and earth attached.

And also, be very careful wherever you are on the bank. Always be mindful of falling trees, stay safe!
