Shoulder and thoracic mobilisation.
I love the foam roller for feed back and to challenge stability. I also love it for getting the upper back and shoulders going, a great warm up!

• Shrugs helping with protraction and retraction of the scapula
• Arm circles (both directions) working on range of motion, stability and keeping those ribs under control so as not to cheat!
• Openings keeping the shoulders steady and getting a stretch through the pectoral muscles

It may not look fancy, but it feels incredible!

Working progress - rocking

This change of seasons has really made my body feel out of sorts. Tight hip flexors and tight thoracic spine, shoulders feeling achy. I don’t find rocking easy (despite all my hyper mobility), but it always makes my body feel great afterwards. The importance of extension and opening up the front chain of the body too!
