Fitness shouldn’t take over your life. It should make your life better.

There are thousands of workouts online. Thousands of meal plans. Thousands of people telling you what you should do.

JLF was built on a different idea.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all coaching. I believe your training should fit your goals, your lifestyle and your journey.

Whether your aim is to lose body fat, build strength, complete HYROX or simply feel more confident, the process should be sustainable and something you genuinely enjoy.

This isn’t just about sets and reps.

It’s about becoming a stronger version of yourself.

One Mind. One Body. One Standard.

Fitness should be built around you — not the other way around.

JLF is about more than turning up, doing a workout and going home. I want to help people become stronger, healthier and more confident across every area of life.

That’s why everything I do is built around five areas:

🏋️ Training — structured, progressive and built around your goals.
🥗 Nutrition — practical guidance without extreme diets or unnecessary restrictions.
🏃 HYROX — developing the strength, endurance and confidence to perform.
🧠 Mindset — building habits, resilience and confidence that extend beyond the gym.
🤝 Community — creating an environment where people can progress alongside others and feel part of something bigger.

Different goals. Different starting points. Different lives.

One Mind. One Body. One Standard.

Hi, I’m Josh 👋

I’m the person behind Josh Langan Fitness.

For me, fitness has never just been about looking better. It’s about becoming stronger, building confidence, improving your health and creating a life you actually enjoy living.

And I know that journey isn’t always straightforward.

I’ve had periods where I’ve lacked confidence, felt stuck and questioned myself. Training, getting outdoors and setting myself challenges gave me something to work towards — and that experience has shaped the way I coach today.

JLF is built around five things:

🏋️ Training — getting stronger, fitter and more capable.
🥗 Nutrition — practical habits that work in real life.
🧠 Confidence — becoming comfortable in yourself and the gym.
🔥 Performance — pushing yourself and seeing what you’re capable of.
🌍 Lifestyle — because fitness should improve your life, not consume it.

As a coach, I don’t want someone to feel like they need me forever.

I want to teach you why we’re doing something, give you the tools to make your own decisions and help you build the confidence to eventually take control yourself.

No quick fixes. No pretending everything is perfect.

Just real people, real life and real progress.

This is JLF.

And we’re only getting started. 💛

“Personal Training is a scam.”

Okay… not quite. 😂

There are some brilliant Personal Trainers out there. But if you’re paying someone every week just to count your reps, pick a few exercises and send you on your way, I think you should be asking what you’re actually paying for.

You might spend one hour with your trainer.

That leaves 167 hours in the rest of your week.

Your sleep matters. Your nutrition matters. Your recovery matters. Your daily movement matters. Your habits matter. And, most importantly, whether what you’re doing is actually moving you towards your goal matters.

That’s why I describe what I do as coaching.

Yes, we train together. But the session is only one part of it.

I want you to understand why you’re doing something. I want your training to have a purpose. I want you to become more confident with nutrition, recovery and your own decision-making.

And ultimately?

I don’t want you to need me forever.

Good coaching should gradually give you the knowledge, confidence and skills to take ownership of your own fitness.

If all you want is an hour of guided exercise each week, traditional PT can be exactly what you need.

But if you have an outcome you want to achieve, I believe the conversation should be bigger than:

“What are we training today?”

That’s the difference I’m building JLF around.

Monday doesn’t need to be the start of a brand-new version of you.

If last week didn’t go to plan, you haven’t failed. You’re simply starting from where you are today.

No punishing workouts.
No trying to “make up” for missed sessions.
No waiting for the perfect week to arrive.

Just take the next useful step:

Train if you can.
Go for a walk if you can’t.
Make your next meal a decent one.
Get back to the routine that supports you.

Consistency isn’t about never having an off day. It’s about not allowing one difficult day - or even one difficult week - to become another complete restart.

You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to stop starting over.

Start from where you are. Build from there. 💪

JLF has changed a lot. 💙💛

What started as me becoming a Personal Trainer has gradually grown into something much bigger.

And I thought it was probably time I properly reintroduced myself — and everything I’m building.

🏋️ Premium Coaching — personalised training, nutrition support and accountability.

⚡ JLF HYROX — specialist coaching for HYROX performance, from first race to chasing PBs.

➕ JLF+ — training, nutrition, education, tools and community for people who want to take more control of their own journey.

And around those sit the different branches of JLF:

🏋️ JLF Bodybuilding
🥗 JLF Kitchen
🧠 JLF Mindset
⚡ JLF HYROX

Then there’s Project 365 — P.365.

For the next 365 days, I’m putting everything I believe in as a coach into practice on myself — documenting the training, nutrition, physique changes, performance, mistakes and everything in between.

And I’m still building. 👀

JLF Train — in development.
Endure Together — in progress. 💜

I don’t want JLF to become a collection of random logos and ideas.

I want every part of it to have a purpose.

To help someone train.

To help someone learn.

To help someone perform.

To help someone build confidence.

Or simply give someone somewhere to start.

There’s still a ridiculous amount I want to do with this.

But this is Josh Langan Fitness in 2026.

And we’re only getting started. 💙💛

Train. Learn. Perform. Endure.

UPDATE — I’m having to exfil at Freshwater.

This isn’t the update I wanted to write, but I’m having to pause the 70-mile attempt at Freshwater.

Today has thrown pretty much everything at me.

My bladder pack has broken, meaning I’ve lost my main way of carrying enough water for the next stint. A diversion also added around an hour and a half to the journey, and then my phone charger broke — thankfully, I managed to get that replaced.

Physically, things have stacked up too.

Both feet are now completely bandaged, I’ve cut my ankle open, and my new side pouch hasn’t worked as intended. This caused the pack to pull heavily down my right-hand side for miles and has created some pretty severe problems with my back.

Any one of these individually, I’d probably find a way around.

But combined — especially losing reliable water storage as we head towards the evening and darkness — continuing stops being determination and starts becoming an unnecessary risk.

I’m absolutely gutted. Mentally, I still want to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

But this isn’t the end of the walk.

I’ll complete the remaining route over the next few weeks in stages, coming back stronger and finishing what I set out to do properly.

Today is a pause, not the finish line.

To everyone who has donated, sponsored miles, messaged, shared the challenge, walked with me or followed along — thank you.

The challenge may be continuing differently than planned, but the reason behind it hasn’t changed.

This was for Mum.
This was for Mountbatten.
And this is only one chapter of Endure Together.

We build strength through adversity, inspire hope through action, and show that no one has to face life’s hardest moments alone.

Because we Endure Together. 💜🌻

Bag Packed ✅

One of the biggest questions I’ve been asked is…

“How are you going to eat enough during a 70-mile walk?”

So I sat down and worked it out.

Looking at everything I’ve packed, I’ve got around 20,000–22,000 calories worth of food and fuel.

In reality, I’ll probably burn somewhere around 9,500–12,500 calories over the course of the challenge, so I won’t eat everything. The goal isn’t to finish every snack—it’s to make sure I never run out of energy.

The plan is simple:
🥤 Stay hydrated.
⚡ Take on electrolytes throughout.
🍯 Use honey and energy gels (I’ve got 60🫣) when I need a quick boost.
🥨 Eat little and often to keep moving forward.

Every step of this walk is for Mountbatten Hospice, in memory of my mum, and to help ensure other families receive the same incredible care that ours did.

If you’d like to support the challenge, sponsor a mile, or even join me for part of the walk, I’d love to hear from you.

Every donation, every message, and every person walking alongside me helps keep me moving.

We build strength through adversity, inspire hope through action, and show that no one has to face life’s hardest moments alone. Because we Endure Together. 💜💛

Tomorrow. 08:00. It begins.

Tomorrow I’ll set off to walk 70 miles around the Isle of Wight.

One day.

One island.

One purpose.

There will be moments where it hurts.

There will be moments where I’ll want to stop.

But every time that happens, I’ll remember why I started.

For Mum.

For every family that relies on Mountbatten Hospice.

For everyone who’s donated, sponsored, shared a post or believed in this challenge.

There’s still time if you’d like to get involved.

💜 Sponsor a mile.
🥾 Walk part of the route.
📣 Share this post so more people hear about it.

Together, let’s make this the biggest challenge of the year.

See you at the start line.

Let’s… Endure Together. 🌻
