A message from Steve For tomorrow’s Event
Following on from last nights email.

Dear Parents/players,

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the 1v1 Formula Tournament in Freshwater tomorrow for an afternoon of nonstop 1v1 competition.

The tournament is designed to give every player a huge number of attacking and defending 1v1 attempts to goal, with very little standing around. Players will continually rotate through different 1v1 stations, competing against others in their age group while receiving coaching, advice and feedback throughout both days.

The repetition is what makes the format so valuable. Rather than spending long periods waiting for their next opportunity, players are constantly being challenged to attack, defend, make decisions and find solutions under pressure.

Event Details
Dates: Aug. 23rd
Time:2-5pm
Location: West Wight Sports Centre, Moa Place, Freshwater, PO409XH

Please have players bring:

Soccer cleats
Shin guards
Plenty of water
Their own soccer ball
We will have prizes for the leading players in each group, and the tournament scoring system will reward both attacking and defending performance.

I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow afternoon and giving the players a day of concentrated 1v1 work that will hopefully challenge them, build confidence and improve their individual skillset.

Wow … what a surprise this was for our camp players this morning.

Noah is having his last camp day today having been with us for several years. His mum Donna, Austin’s mum Lianne and Charlie’s mum Becky, asked us if they could say a huge thank you to us for having them, and have treated our full camp to Ice Creams from Gary at The Plaza Ices - Delicious

What a seriously kind gesture that was, and so nice to see all those faces in shock as the van arrived.

Such a touching and kind thing to do, and we can’t thank you enough for supporting us with your boys so often. We will miss them, but they have stamped their legacy on our youngest to follow on their footsteps.

Honestly ….

Robbie and I have a very high retention in our sessions which means many people are left waiting for months and months to get into a session.

For us it’s a compliment that so many value our session and return again and again. Many for years.

So much so our Saturday waiting list has just hit 49 …

So all those waiting in our Mini Messi 10.30am sessions. Check your email inbox and junk folder. Their is some news for you 😁
