The results you have in your life are a direct correlation to the people that surround you.

Therefore, it’s key to surround yourself with people that inspire you.

I believe your circle should be well-rounded and supportive, and it should motivate and push you.

It should always be based on quality over quantity.

And I also truly believe you need to invest the time in giving it back to others to inspire each other.

After all, we are all products of our environment.

It's so important to surround yourself with people that support your goals, challenge you to become better, and keep you honest in achieving what you set out to do.

Find like-minded people who will grind with you and who are just as hungry as you are.

Because if you let your goals fall away, then you are failing yourself.

The best way to overcome anxiety is to push yourself out of your comfort zone and practise it gradually. The gym is ideal for this purpose. Anxious about other people, about the fact that you have no idea what you're doing and would prefer not to begin?

Even 15 minutes a week in the gym with your headphones on can do wonders.
You will get results with a simple 15-minute gym workout once a week.

Get rid of your:
- stress
- Anxiety
- Depression.

Create a more positive mindset.

A sense of accomplishment, as well as becoming extremely fit.

Create a more positive mindset and show good examples to your children

Fat loss
Energy balance is by far the most important factor that affects fat gain and loss. calorie intake versus calorie expenditure.

If you consume more calories than your body burns over a period of time, you will gain fat. If you want to lose fat, you must eat fewer calories than your body burns.

There are three basic ways to accomplish this:
1. Reduce the number of calories you consume.
2. Increase the number of calories you expend.
3. A combination of the above.

Many believe exercising more is the best way to burn the excess fat away, but most activities do not burn enough calories to be worth performing solely for that purpose.

Don’t get me wrong, activity is best, but the amount of calories we burn is extremely overstated.

Reducing calorie intake is a far more practical and time-efficient way to create an energy deficit.

But !
Be careful! Overdoing it can quickly lead to muscle loss, which we don’t want. Muscle tissue is highly metabolically active, so losing it can cause all kinds of weird things we don’t want to happen.

So

The muscle-building macro, which is the protein, has to be above the sky.

Don’t worry, you can’t really have too much protein. Many people fear kidney disease and other problems, but that only really happens if you eat a week's worth of protein in one day like a crazy person😂

And of course, as usual, wake up your muscles by hitting them hard in the gym.

Should you do traditional cardio if you want to lose weight?

When it comes to cardio, your body doesn’t know the difference between weightlifting and traditional cardio. All it notices is fatiguing muscle. If you fatigue your muscles enough, your cardiovascular system will improve.
 
You wouldn’t need to do any kind of jogging or steady-state stuff. It would not have any additional improvements alongside weightlifting.
 
Traditional cardio is a skill component. Someone started jogging and noticed that, over time, it got easier. They think their cardio has improved. It has, to a certain degree, but most of what improved was their ability to jog. Their skill for jogging means they’re using less energy with jogging, and they call that "getting in shape," even though it’s mostly a skill adaptation.
 
So should you do traditional cardio next to resistance training if you want to lose weight? Not necessary.

Do traditional cardio if you WANT to get better at that particular activity.
