Funny how songs bring back feelings and memories.

When I was taking Morgan to radiation in Bristol we’d have to be at the hospital for 8am - neither of us were ‘morning people’ and we had to do this 3 times a week for a month. Those that know I basically moved to Bristol for a month- just us two rattling around navigating this cancer thing.

Anyway - every morning without fail this song came on. Typical Capital radio- it’s like clockwork- but it came on every day as we did our drive to the hospital. At the time it was light hearted and made the start to a sad day a bit more fun.

After Morgan left every time the song came on I switched it over- that journey, the anxiety, always came back. But finally now I hear it and it actually makes me smile as whilst he was just a dog we’d drive together and I swear he would smile with his head out the window as I poorly sang to this song.

Anyway well done if you got this far reading my ramble but thank you for making a song that randomly holds so many emotions when it’s sod all to do with dogs 😂 but yet makes me remember my Morgan every time.
