Little Fenn sent to us by Mr Morgan… my heart didn’t feel ready but his love is healing and I think Morgan knew I would need that.
11 weeks old… such a good boy

Life is super tough right now. Said goodbye to my boy, my companion, my soul mate on Monday and life just hasn’t felt the same since.
Morgan aka monkey, fat man, Morg, Mr Miagi, Margarita… left us last Monday after nearly 14 years. He showed us all how life could be lived full to the brim.
I will miss his face.

A little Bristol update … not a good one.
Morgan’s cancer has progressed. Quite a bit.
A tumour has now blocked off a kidney so we’re down to just the one. His blood has lots of tumour cell clusters in it which probably caused his weird episode last month- a mini stroke.
He’s happy right now but we probably won’t see past Summer. My heart is broken.
This last couple years has been super hard watching my best friend fighting this cruel disease and we did so well. But knowing all treatment is over fills me with sadness.
If you’ve not really know what’s been going on you’d be forgiven for thinking I seem down, grumpy or just off. I’m sorry. The emotional toll this has taken cannot even be described.
To some he may just be a dog. To me he’s my soul. Nearly 14 years of adventures are nearly over and I can’t imagine any without him

It’s been a super scary month for us. Not enough to be dealing with serious cancer but let’s throw a possible blood clot or seizure in the mix and make sure I lose all chance of getting sleep.
Couple Sundays ago we found ourselves at the vet with Morgan unable to stand and eyes bouncing back and forth like tennis balls in a Wimbledon match. 3 days if carrying him around as he couldn’t stand he finally regained his footing but was walking like he’d had a few too many in each night. The vet’s suggested the worst immediately. We wanted to give our boy chance to recover. Hundreds of people shared their experiences of vestibular disorder online- which is what we said it was and confirmed by the vet albeit they think Morgan has a more sinister cause.
Morgan is now up and running- we have a dog stroller 😱as it means we can get him around safely to the beach. To say we’ve had a stressful couple weeks is an understatement but he’s an extremely determined dude.
So if we’ve been a little frazzled of late this is why- sleeping in a dog bed is definitely not for the faint hearted
