And it is here again! Can we win the Trophy again? Kazoku Judo Academy members, we need you!

This weekend was absolutely brilliant. Our club members were gaining not only valuable experience but also medals! Very well done to get yourself there and fight from such small clun comparing to others in UK!
Saturday:
Alby- Silver
Cael- Bronze
Andy- Bronze

Sunday:
Ebony- Silver
Noa- this time she gained valuable experience as she didnt manage to get through pool

Cornwall also had players who used to train or visiting club for training and they did amazing job!

Rylie T.- gained valuable experience and will come back stronger!

This weekend is a last competition for first half of 2026. This one is a big one in Bath University West International Open.
We have our team there which consists of Cael, Alby, Andy, Noa and Ebony. Our club also visits Will B. and Rylie T., both from Redruth jc.
Today, was absolutely brilliant 100% succesful from team Kazoku.
For Cael, our youngest competitor , it was a debut big event. He went to try. And wow, winning bronze medal was just incredible to get but mostly he boosted his confidence to embrace such level and give it a go soon again!
Alby was also in Cael's category. Alby is experienced player, currently came from Italy Green Camp were he trained and met the best, even Olympians. Alby got to final where he was little short and won amazing silver!
To top up this amazing success, we had also a veteran Andy who is in his 60's! He went and tried competing after over decade not steping on competitive mat. Andy did an amazing job and won bronze medal. Speaking to Andy, he was happy with himself and that is what matters most.
Will B. who represents Redruth jc and trains regularly in Kazoku entered this well attended event, he went and beat himself through for bronze medal fight and winning it. Little dissapointed by losing his 1 match by small mistake but after not competing for long time, this achievement is outstanding thanks to his constant improving and growing as judoka.
Generally, what i can say? 100% medal takers today! Very proud of team Kazoku. This works is a team efford from various coaches and analysis of precious matches to come back stronger and better and learn again.
Tomorrow, our girls Noa and Ebony will have their go and Rylie who also training regularly in Kazoku.

Wow, what an achievement already! 3 our players, 1 player which trains regularly in Kazoku and a former player of Kazoku Judo Academy have been selected to BRITISH NATIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2026!
