Education - Exploration - Conservation

We are Dive NQY, Cornwall’s premier scuba diving centre. We welcome divers from all agencies, ages, abilities and equipment configurations. Whether you are new to the sport, or a seasoned professional, we can cater for your needs as well as provide equipment and guides.

Education - At Dive NQY we start our divers young, with our on site 4m deep pool, we run a weekly after school club for ages 8 and above. We offer entry level training all the way through to Divemaster and Instructor, both with open circuit and closed circuit configurations. In 2020 we were rewarded by SSI for our Youth Development Program.

Exploration - The North Coast of Cornwall offers some of the finest wreck diving the UK has to offer. With visibility of upwards of 25m and access to hundreds of wrecks, our 8.5m RhIB is crewed with fully qualified skipper. We regularly dive wrecks ranging from 25m to 70m. Full EAN & Trimix is available.

Conservation - Situated within the heart of the Newquay & Gannel MCZ, many of the species found are unique to Cornish waters. Fed via the warm water of the Gulf Stream, our sea boasts the warmest temperatures found in the UK. Many of our Instructors hold degrees in Marine Conservation, Marine Ecology and Applied Marine Zoology. In 2019 we proudly accepted the Blue Oceans recognition from SSI for our conservation effort.
