Welcome to the Diddy Dolphins Team, Anna! 🤍🐬

We're delighted to introduce Anna, our newest Diddy Dolphins leader. 🙌🐬

Anna has always loved being in and around the water, from competitive swimming as a child to a career as a sailing and powerboat instructor. She later retrained as a teacher before becoming a swimming teacher and coach after having her two children.

Living in Cornwall, Anna is passionate about helping children develop confidence in the water, learn vital water safety skills and discover a lifelong love of swimming.

We're so excited for our families to meet Anna and know she'll be a fantastic addition to the Diddy Dolphins team. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! 💙🌊

Meet the family behind Diddy Dolphins Swim School, Cornwall Dolphins.

Alexis, Leo and Leven 🤍🐬

Last weekend we celebrated Leo turning 11… and with that, 11 years of me being a mum. 🙏🤍

What feels extra special is that Diddy Dolphins was born at the same time Leo arrived into the world.
In so many ways, he was the little nudge I needed to follow my dream to take my 20 + years of experience working with babies, children and adults in the water, and build something of my own here in Cornwall.

It all started with just six swimmers at the Sandy Lodge Hotel pool. From there, we were lucky enough to grow with the support of venues including Glendorgal Hotel, The Park, Newquay Hydro, Truro School and Newperran pools. 🙌
Today, I feel incredibly proud and grateful to have built strong relationships and run the swim school with two amazing venues Atlantic Reach and Piran Meadows Resort who help us support such a wonderful community of local families.

I’m not always the best at celebrating myself on social media. The truth is, the heart of Diddy Dolphins is the team; Leila, Kat, Hannah and Rachael, who give me the confidence in everything we achieve together. ♥️🐬

But recently, Leo and Leven told me how proud they are that Diddy Dolphins is our family thing. And honestly, that meant everything. Those who know me will know there were tears!! As much as I sometimes worry about working too much or replying to messages when I’m with the boys… they understand. They see it. They feel what we’ve built. 🙏🥂✨

So this is a big thank you to our friends, family, and every single person who has supported us along the way.✨🤍💕
It hasn’t always been easy, but believing in people, in their progress, and in their confidence in the water is something I’ll always be passionate about.

I still worry (probably always will), but I’m learning. And knowing the boys believe in this dream too makes it all worth it. 🥺

So before I get too deep or too emotional… this is simply a post to celebrate

Sometimes in life, you question whether you're doing the right thing or choosing the right path… and then you get a little reminder of exactly why you do what you do...

Arthur first came to my lessons at around four years old, starting in our Truro crash courses. He was beaming with excitement, Captain America movements and costumes.
He simply lit up the pool and lifted the whole atmosphere from the beginning .
He gave that golden feeling that reminds you just how rewarding it is to help someone learn such an important life skill.

Since then, Arthur has gone on to shine in every aspect of swimming. His passion and eagerness to learn are incredible, he absorbs every teaching point and always wants more, even when time is up!

His progress across all strokes and skills has been amazing, and he continues to excel week after week.

I truly believe Arthur has the potential to go very far in his swimming journey. I have recently been encouraging him to increase his swimming and dream of that Olympic winning moment. I would love to cheer you on one day with a big banner!!!

Arthur, you light up every session. Your energy, determination, and commitment are beyond inspiring, and you often give me goosebumps watching you swim.

We are all so so proud of you. You are fast, skilled, and an incredibly talented young athlete in the making.

Keep reaching for the stars and never stop believing in yourself. 🙌🏆✨🤍🐬
