Both have fifteen and ten years respectively of being in the military and both are now local sports lecturers and PE teachers. Military Fitness was set up to offer the tried and tested methods used by the British Military and by various other militaries from around the world, to test, improve and maintain individual fitness, whilst enjoying being outside in what ever glorious weather comes our way
. Sessions are designed for all levels of fitness. Perhaps you are just getting into fitness, or maybe training for a competition, or even applying for a career in the military, rest assured you will be looked after and you will achieve. Our main focus is on technique and full range of movement, which will reduce chances of injuries and help to improve functional fitness. Of course once this is mastered you can expect the tempo to raise. Sessions are often team based, which we find helps individuals find an extra 10% or 20% of effort, therefore pushing you in a fun and encouraging environment. We incorporate Power Yoga to improve flexibility and recovery. We also have regular individual fitness testing to show you and us where improvements are being made and where we should focus. Every session is different but all are designed to develop cv endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility, strength and power. Sessions are every Saturday morning at 9:30am all year round and every Wednesday evening at 6pm. All sessions last for 1 hour. We are normally at the Treviglas Sports Hub, Porth Beach or on the Barrowfields near Tolcarne beach, but we will always give prior notice of change. Due to limited space we encourage individuals to book in blocks of four, which we offer at a discounted rate of £20. You can turn up and train on the day with sessions costing £6 and availability allowing. Embrace outdoor fitness and come along and train with us.
