Return of the Hawks 🏏

We are very pleased to announce that Aaron Hawken has returned home to NCC which will be a massive boost to the 2nd XI.

2s skipper Matt Millward said:
“Aaron returning to the club is massive for us, we were lacking on the batting front last season and adding someone with the ability that Hawks has to the fold will certainly give us that extra boost as we look to push for promotion. We're looking for new players of all abilities for our 4 Saturday teams. We also have a midweek T20 team, and a ladies softball team.

We're also on the lookout for volunteers to help and extra hands on match days to ensure everything runs smoothly.

A successful first indoor hardball youth session today at WAX GYM Sportscentre!

A good turnout as the lads dusted off the cobwebs getting ready for the season to start in a few months. Thanks to Mike and Tom for running the session.

The next session will be on Sat 28th Feb, 1130-130pm (new players welcome), nothing for the next 2 weeks sadly.

Pictured is elegant left handed opening bat Sushant Chogale (with his new shirt kindly supplied by Gibbons Motor Co. Ltd) who scored a classy 89 in his only game late last season. He is committed to playing regularly this year and pushing for a spot in the 2nd XI.

Sushant hails from Mumbai in India, and has played for United Cricketers, South Bombay & Mumbai University in his homeland.
