A few little bits of safety advice for exploring the coast on a SUP from
What's in the bag?
- spare layers (waterproof, insulating and a hat)
- snacks and drink
- first aid kit
- an emergency shelter & bivvy bag
- lovely warm flask
- map
That's the basics, different kit for different trips, for example if we'd been planning a longer day I would have put a head torch in at this time of year!
Also worth noting that my phone has several navigation, tide and weather apps on it too
