A huge well done to our three newest qualified coaches on successfully completing their coaching qualifications! 👏

This is a fantastic achievement and a real benefit to the club. Our coaches are here to help support runners of all abilities, whether you're taking your first steps into running, returning after a break, or working towards your next goal.

Ladies Social Running - summer series number 3 ❤️. What a joyful and fantastic run that was with other brilliant women - lots of laughter and chatting. So great to see some new faces as well. We did just over 5k and everyone did amazingly. I’m sure some of you went to sleep with “choo choo” in your head after the caterpillar up tbe hill 😂.

Last Thursday was the Second Ladies Social Run/Walk. We had some more newbies and they did brilliantly ❤️. They did 5k and we even managed to enjoy some sun over the Gannel.

6:30 - meet at the door to the sports centre.

Pop it in your diaries and bring along any ladies in your life that fancy it 😊. (Teenagers 12+ welcome).

We're proud to be working with WAX Events on the return of Surf & Turf on Saturday 30th May 2026.

Combining a 5km run and a 500m sea swim, it's a fantastic challenge set against Newquay's stunning coastline.

🏃‍♂️ Newquay Carnival Mile – Entries Now Open! 🏃‍♀️Sat 4 July 2026 at 5.55pm

This year's race marks the return of a Newquay Carnival favourite that hasn't been held for several years.

Taking place just before the carnival parade sets off, runners will race through the streets of Newquay with hundreds of spectators expected to line the route and cheer everyone on. With all roads closed to traffic, it promises to be a unique and exciting race through the heart of the town.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance, with no entries available on the day.

All proceeds will go to the Newquay Lions Club Community Fund, helping support local good causes and future community events.

🏃‍♂️ The Newquay Carnival Mile is back! 🏃‍♀️
Join us on Saturday 4th July 2026 at 5.55pm for the return of this exciting one-mile road race through the heart of Newquay.
Starting outside The Fort Inn and finishing on the Barrowfields just before the carnival parade, this promises to be a fantastic evening with a huge atmosphere and plenty of support around the course.
✔ Adults only (18+ on race day)
✔ Medal for every finisher
✔ Trophies for first male & female runners
✔ Road closures in place for racing
✔ All proceeds supporting the Newquay Lions Club Community Fund

What a great first Ladies run of the summer ❤️. The rain held off and we enjoyed some of the beautiful scenery Newquay has to offer. Everyone did amazingly. We’ll be running every two weeks so hopefully see some more of you on the 21st of May 🙌.
