🔵⚪ U21 CHAMPIONSHIP – WINNING START FOR THE BLUES

Our Under 21s got their Championship campaign off to a winning start this afternoon against Carrickcruppen.

In good conditions for football, Culloville made a strong start, opening up a five-point lead before the visitors registered their first score. Carrickcruppen were unfortunate to suffer a number of early injuries, while the Blues continued to build on their lead, going into half-time ahead by 0-13 to 0-02.

The second half saw Culloville maintain their advantage, adding two goals to their tally to secure a 2-25 to 2-07 victory.

Attention now turns to a challenging away fixture against Clann Éireann in two weeks’ time as the lads look to build on today’s result.

Thanks to Carrickcruppen for a sporting game and to referee Kevin Murtagh and his officials.

Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, local businesses and supporters, we now have a fantastic facility that will benefit our club and community for generations to come.
