Micro holiday to the seaside. Escaped the Chamonix rain for 3days and zoomed down to . Steepy pumps, snoozy naps, stretchy vests, urban bivouacs, pizza every night and goot vibes with a good crew .guides.italy .samuel.773 and rocio. @ Finale Ligure

This is birthright. Grands charmoz. 450m AK47. Great line and amazing climbing. Thin in places, but all there with plenty of Neve. The only bad bit was the annoying rain crust on the ski in ski out. A Superb line that I wanted to climb since Big Tim told me about it a few weeks ago. We climbed to the halfway ledges on the grand charmoz and rapped back down the route. Good vibes with

Contrast. Lumpy whites and spiky greys. Lumpy space. Creamy.

Geant ice fall yesterday, through the creamy heavy snow. Hopefully it doesn't wash away today 😬.

Big snooodling day. Probably need to work on our choreography. Lots of wiggles. Hippy powder. Mincing turns. Avoiding the big steep stuff where there was a lot of avalanche activity.

The moiry dam. Lots of the off piste skiing around zinal ends up at the dam. We recalled the years where the snow is so high on top that it is as high as the safety railings, which adds an extra airy feel to poling açcross the top of it. That's not the case this year. But hopefully we get some snow tomorrow 😬...

That was an amazing two days of ice climbing with Raluca. We got pumped, wet, and frozen. Then spindrifed. But it was class! C'est nickel?! It was fully wild going up the final grade 6 pillar getting occasionally pummeled by powder avalanches. Amazing ephemeral lines in an unexpected location, on the door step essentially.

Poppedy hop!! Sweet jump turn from Ben in the beautiful 's' couloir above grimentz. I mean... I think it's a sweet jump turn. Full commitment and pushing forward, linking it up into another one. That's the idea right... they seem to work ;) it was steep and chalky at the top... And we floated out the bottom on powder. Top job!

Zinal and grimentz advanced off piste week. Avoiding the rocks. Admiring the cats. Finding the powder. Fantastic to be ski guiding here for , as always.
