What a day for Damolly Social Women! 💙🧡⚽

A massive thank you to Womens Social Soccer, Newry Ashgrove, for hosting such a brilliant tournament today! Great football, great craic, and somehow they even managed to keep the rain away… which deserved an award of its own! ☀️🌧️

Thanks also to Kick 2 Connect for their continued support of women’s social football. Seeing so many teams out today was absolutely fantastic and really shows the appetite is there for women of all ages to pull on a jersey, get on the pitch and enjoy the game.

And what about our Damolly women! 🧡💙
Every single player who donned the jersey today did us proud. On a muggy day in Newry, the legs were tested, the hair was frizzing, but the football was flowing! There were goals, tackles, passes, teamwork, determination but most importantly, plenty of laughs along the way.

A special shout out to Daniel for keeping us all organised and on track today (no easy job with this bunch)!😜

Well done everyone. Social football at its best: fun, friendship, football and a few tired legs tomorrow! 💙🧡
