๐ก๐ฌ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ผ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด- A band of heavy rain will give a risk of localised flooding and some travel disruption today-Saturday. Accumulations of widely 20-30 mm and locally 40-55 mm over the hills are expected.
๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ - strong winds perhaps leading to some transport disruption. Gusts of 45 to 55 mph are likely quite widely, with 60-70 mph possible along Irish Sea coasts.
In line with these warnings, the districtโs four Forest/Country Parks (Castlewellan, Delamont, Kilbroney and Slieve Gullion) will be closed.
All associated facilities (Cafes, Forest drives etc) will be closed also.
Council are advising the public to follow Met Office advice, for more information visit: https://tinyurl.com/54h6f35b
