Primal Mvmnt Fitness & Nutrition COVID 19 Update:

Keeping you safe and healthy is our number one priority. If so, you’ll be unable to enter the facility. Cleaning and disinfecting. Ventilation.

That's why we're introducing new cleaning procedures and social distancing measures, which have been guided by the experts at UK Active, the UK government and Public Health England. Before entering the facility, you’ll be asked if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have recently returned from a country where you are currently required to self-isolate. Members will be encouraged to sanitise their hands at reception and additional hand sanitiser units have been positioned at key areas across the facility. We'll be sanitising gym equipment throughout the day and cleaning the entire facility every night. Social distancing. You'll see new social distancing signs around the gym, including one-way systems where possible. We're also limiting the number of members in each area. Changes to classes. We're running smaller classes to keep everyone safe and the classes will be shorter than usual (50 mins) to make sure we have enough time to clean the studios. ALL consultations are being performed remotely through video or phone call. Protecting you and our teams. We've installed plastic shields at our reception desks and we'll be providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to our staff if necessary. We are opening windows, our large facility sliding door and using antiviral fogging kit.

Getting your old self back does not mean punishing yourself for falling out of routine.

For most busy adults, life simply got busier.

Work.

Family.

Kids.

Responsibilities.

And somewhere along the way, looking after yourself moved further down the list.

The answer is not to try to make up for lost time.

It is to rebuild some rhythm.

A couple of realistic training sessions.

One or two simple habits.

Something that fits the life you have now.

That is often how you start feeling stronger, more confident and more like yourself again.

We have gone into this in more detail in this week’s blog.

Have a read, and if it sounds like you, reply or message us and tell us what feels hardest right now.

We’re looking to help 5 busy adults who feel stuck getting back into a routine and want some support over the next 30 days.

If work, family and life have pushed your own health further down the list, you’re not the only one.

You probably don’t need another extreme plan.

You need something realistic.

A couple of training sessions each week.
A bit more structure.
Some accountability.
And support to help you keep going when life gets busy.

If you know you need to get moving again but you’ve been putting it off, this could be your sign to start.

Message us “𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧” and we’ll have a chat about what might work for you.

Getting back into a routine does not need to mean changing everything at once.

Start with two things.

Choose 2 realistic training slots for the week.

Then pick 1 simple health habit you can repeat.

That could be adding protein to breakfast, drinking more water or taking a short walk after tea.

Simple does not mean ineffective.

A routine becomes useful when it is realistic enough to keep doing.

So instead of waiting for the perfect week, start with the week you actually have.

Choose your two training slots today and get them in the diary.

You probably don’t need more motivation.

You need a routine that fits your real week.

Because motivation comes and goes.

Some weeks you’ll feel ready to train. Other weeks work is hectic, the kids need you, you’re tired and getting to the gym is the last thing you feel like doing.

That’s why we don’t think the answer is relying on motivation.

It’s building something realistic enough that you can keep going even when life gets busy.

Maybe that’s two sessions a week.

Maybe it’s knowing exactly when you’re going to train before the week starts.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just needs to be something you can actually stick to.

Save this for the next time you’re waiting to “feel motivated” before getting started.

“I’ll start when things calm down.”

If you’ve been telling yourself that for a while, you’re not alone.

Work, family, kids and everyday life can make getting back into a routine feel harder than it should.

But you don’t need to suddenly train five days a week or completely change your lifestyle.

Start with something you can repeat.

One or two sessions. Get them in the diary. Build from there.

The best routine isn’t the perfect one.

It’s the one that works around your actual life.

Still waiting for life to calm down before you get consistent with training?

Work gets busy.
The kids have plans.
Family needs you.
Something unexpected comes up.

And suddenly another week has disappeared.

The answer isn’t always finding more time.

Sometimes it’s having a plan that can flex when real life happens.

Your training doesn’t have to look perfect every week to be worthwhile.

Our latest blog looks at how to make training fit around a busy life — instead of constantly waiting for that mythical “quiet week”.

Last year’s Masters Throwdown pushed me more than I expected.

I was nervous beforehand, I didn’t really know how the day was going to feel, and I definitely wasn’t expecting to hit PBs.

But that’s exactly what happened.

Having my team around me, my family there supporting, and the atmosphere on the day brought something extra out of me.

I came away feeling like I’d genuinely achieved something… and with legs that reminded me about it for a few days afterwards.

That’s probably the biggest thing I’d say to anyone thinking about entering this year:

You don’t need to feel completely ready.

You just need to give yourself the chance to take part.

A good plan shouldn’t only work on a good week.

Work runs late.
The kids need you.
Family plans change.
Your energy dips.

That’s real life.

And if your routine falls apart every time the week gets messy, the problem might not be your motivation — it might be the plan.

A realistic routine should have enough flexibility to keep you moving forward, even when things don’t go perfectly.

That might mean a shorter session, moving a workout, or simply doing what you can instead of giving up on the week completely.

Consistency isn’t about getting everything right.

It’s about having a plan that works around real life.

Comment 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 and we’ll send you a simple first step.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing you want to make a change.

It’s knowing where to start.

When life is already busy with work, family and everything else, trying to figure out training on your own can feel like another job.

You don’t need the perfect plan.

You need a realistic starting point, some guidance and a routine you can actually stick to.

Start simple. Build consistency. Then progress from there. 💪

If you feel like you’re ready to get going but aren’t sure what to do next, drop us a message and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Training after 30 isn’t just about lifting heavier weights. 💪

It’s about staying strong enough for real life.

Carrying the shopping.
Keeping up with the kids.
Enjoying your sport.
Doing the jobs around the house.
Feeling confident in what your body can do.

The numbers in the gym can improve along the way, but they’re not the whole point.

Strength training is about helping you stay capable, active and independent for the things that matter to you.

Save this reminder for the days you need to remember why you train. 🖤
