🇸🇪⚽️ A massive thank you to all who came down to show their love to Glenn and his family yeaterday, it was touching to see so many faces on that sideline. We started our game with a minutes applause cos we all know he would of prefered that to silence as well as Glenn's family walking out on to the pitch with us also.⚽️🇸🇪

❗️We can only apoligise about our performance during the game as we didnt show to the occasion , wierldly lacked a Glenn someone to take hold of a game and be that spark. Credit to sticky wicket they utilsed a long throw which we did not deal with along with our own errors and a god awful pitch we got bopped 4 zip. Roll on next week as things need to improve on that.❗️

🇸🇪⚽💙This Sunday's home fixture at Moore Lane Park, carries special significance as we come together after the awful loss of our club legend, our number 9, Glenn Hendrix.

This is not a planned event, but simply the first occasion we as a club have been able to share our condolences properly. With the support of Newton Aycliffe Sports Club and its staff, we hope to come together to pay our respects and honour Glenn’s memory.

We’re inviting Glenn’s family down, and we’d also welcome any former players who wore the maroon, green and gold alongside Glenn to join us and if possible dig out them old tracksuits if they still fit, after the game we will be raising a glass in his honour, and share stories in his memory.

We kindly ask everyone in attendance to respect the occasion, the club, its staff, and our neighbours.

We look forward to coming together as a community to remember Glenn and support his family. If everyone could get to Moore Lane prior to kick off💙⚽🏆

🇸🇪💙💛 OSC The Ranch 2 NASC 2 💛💙🇸🇪 ( RANCH WON 4 2 ON PENALTIES)

❗️ In what was always going to be an emotional one, we crash out of the mick henderson when we really shouldnt of. The game was tarnished by a poor ref performance, he was 74 btw just incase he hadnt told anyone.

We started very well and took the lead within 5 minutes or so after a long kick from Issac found Reed Heskey who held it up lovely to feed Declan Scott who duely converted. We controlled the first half and defo should of killed it off with a number of chances.

The ranch came out much better 2nd half and were awarded a penalty, a soft penalty but penalty never the less 1 1 60 minutes in. We didnt let that get to us and grabbed our 2nd from Benjamin Atkinson who rounded the keeper calmly & realistically should of been tapping in for hatrick but unfortunatley not it was just the one, 2 1 70 minutes. The ranch were awarded another dodgy penalty after their lad blatently handballed it but never the less 2 2 at full time.

Our rubbish form in penalty shootouts continues unfortunatley and we exit the cup, but alot of heart and quality on show at times today in what has been the most emotional week. Big thank you to the ranch for donning black arm bands in honour of Glenn and been a cracking set of lads as always, shame about your new scran its crap 😭🤣

Roll on next week where we are back at home and once again we will be paying homage to the greatest number 9 this club has seen we hope to see you all there 🇸🇪❗️

❤️‍🩹🇸🇪⚽🏆 We travel back to the OSC The Ranch this weekend in what will be a very emotional one, as my god he loved playing this lot and scranning them curry puds. We will be having a minutes silence in Glenn's memory prior to kick off but also during our next home game on the 20th we will be paying our respects too and would love to see as many people there as physically possible.🏆⚽🇸🇪❤️‍🩹
