Keep up to date with Newton Aycliffe's Allstar Cheerleading Squad - NEMESIS We are a community squad with about 60 members that have about 500 trophies.

3 more summer skills sessions before senior and junior comp teams are picked for cheer and 1 more for dance - if you are wanting to give cheer a go it is junior tonight and senior tomorrow - we will not be taking anyone after the summer holidays so if interested get in touch now! Junior Team dynamite on the comp floor last weekend coming first place out of 9 Teams - want to give cheer a go we now have 6 weeks of summer skills before Team Placements so now is the time to come and give it a try! Places available in all age groups! Message for details

Still on a high after this weekend We attended what should have been out last comp of the season at BCA Cheer & Dance summer spotlight and omg what a day it was! We received
1st in mini lyrical dance solo
1 x youth lyrical dance solo
1 x senior lyrical dance solo
1 x open Pom dance solo
1x senior lyrical duo
1 x junior cheer dynamite
1 x senior coed 3 cheer storm
2 x in senior Pom thunder
3rd in senior lyrical unique
4th in junior lyrical hail
After the challenges we have faced the last few weeks I can’t believe it - we didn’t even think we would be able to compete in the senior section on The Wednesday before comp and had to rework whole routine and come up with a totally new pyramid but everyone pulled together, gave it there all and look what happened! After such fantastic results we were invited back to compete at the Champions Challenge competition, this comp is invitation only for all the first place routines from around the country for the season. We received the invitation for 10 although due to work commitments we couldn’t take the seniors but the rest of the team travelled back to Sheffield to take the floor and results were 3 x 1st 3x 2nd and 3 x 3rd. Thank you so much to all the parents who were so so supportive and all got there children back to Sheffield the next day and rallied around for lifts etc and athletes who didn’t give up we’re so positive and again rallied around to make sure everyone could make it and compete again - what an amazing group of people you all are! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PART OF NEMESIS AND GIVE CHEER A GO WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING PLACES FOR OUR NEXT COMP SEASON SO GET IN TOUCH!

Summer will be New skills then Team placements will be released in September for our competition teams below Nemesis stars, nemesis dynamite junior allstar cheer, nemesis storm - senior coed 3 allstar cheer, nemesis thunder - Pom dance team, nemesis unique - senior lyrical/contemporary dance team, nemesis hail junior lyrical/contemporary dance team plus soloists, duos, trios and group stunts.
