🐝💛🖤 U9 STINGERS — ANOTHER STEP FORWARD! 🖤💛🐝

Another fantastic performance from our Earlestown Athletic U9 Stingers against Beechwood, with the girls showing just how much they are improving week after week. ⚽️👏

There were some excellent individual performances, but the most impressive thing was the team performance and togetherness.

As a brand-new team, it takes time for friendships and bonds to develop, but you can now really see that coming through on the pitch. The girls are growing in confidence, becoming more comfortable with each other and enjoying their football more every week. 💛🖤

Sunday also saw the first appearance for Penelope, who fitted into the team brilliantly. Welcome to the Stingers, Penelope! 🐝

U12 Celtic Vs Golborne Sports Juniors Pirates ⚽️🖤💛🖤💛⚽️

Wow! Another brilliant game!

The strength in the first half was great to see. Despite the rain the effort was incredible and never let up for the whole game. You could tell right from kick off they wanted to win!

A strong defence and goal keeping again only conceding 2 goals.

Our wingers didn't half put a shift in. Through the middle we had lots of attempts and were unlucky not to score more.

Their keeper did really well and put us under pressure but there was some awesome skill demonstrated that secured goals.

Our keeper this week was Freddie and he did an excellent job with some brave saves.

The boys put in a fantastic team performance, showing plenty of effort, determination and teamwork from start to finish. 💪🐝

A huge shoutout to Josh, who stepped up to play in goal for the whole match. As the only player willing to take on the challenge, Josh produced some fantastic saves and did an brilliant job between the sticks! 🧤👏

🌟 Earlestown Athletic JFC U8 Celtics vs Weston Point Jnrs 🌟

What a tricky match for our U8 Celtics today! 💪⚽

Despite the challenging conditions, with the rain making an appearance before the sunshine came through ☔☀️, the team continued to work hard and show great determination throughout.

👏 Great passing, some excellent defensive play and plenty of effort from the whole team! It’s fantastic to see them continuing to develop, learn and support each other on the pitch.

🖤💛 U10 Stingers Match Report 🐝

A really tough match for our U10 Stingers today against Winston Junior, but the girls once again showed fantastic attitude, determination and effort from start to finish.

Despite the result, there was plenty to be proud of. The girls gave absolutely everything on the pitch, battled hard and never gave up. We’re continuing to see improvements with every game, and it’s clear that the hard work is paying off. 💪🐝

⭐ Parents’ Player of the Match – Anna
Another brilliant performance from Anna! She put in some excellent runs towards goal and came so close to finding the back of the net. That first goal is coming! ⚽️

⭐ Coaches’ Player of the Match – Kycen
Kycen never stopped running, whether in defence or midfield. She covered every blade of grass, battled hard for every challenge and came incredibly close to scoring towards the end. What an effort! 👏

A huge well done to every single girl today. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. ❤️

We go again next week! Keep working hard, keep believing and most importantly, keep enjoying your football. 🖤💛🐝

The first away game of the season and the team did not disappoint!
Absolutely dominant performance from start to finish.
A strong defence only conceding the 2 goals (one of which a pen) and another penalty which was expertly saved by Sam.
Our forward line were relentless in front of goal and could have easily scored more. We have set the standard moving forward now and with 8 goals in our favour I’m sure we will be hungry for more.
