Thank you to Phil and Olli from Vault Krav who came and delivered a self defence class to everyone last night.
Several people from the village and surrounding areas wanted some self defence training due to the circumstances with what had happened to Aisling Murphy
The feedback has been excellent from last night's session and we are glad Phil and Olli were able to come along.

This is amongst the most important posts to all Vault members and supporters.
We thank every single one of you who for two years demonstrated resilience in the face of a once in a lifetime pandemic. Vault continued to function throughout and was UK/Ireland-leading in delivering safe and legal training.
Our motto ‘Vires Ex Adversis’ - Strength from adversity, was more than adopted head-on.
Vault is now operating without any restrictions other than common sense. Classes are already packed with beginners which is great to see, and we encourage others who haven’t been able to train to re-polish your skills.
2022 will be a fantastic year and there is a lot planned ahead at Vault.
With the world opening up fully, now is the time to retake your life and get back to training!

🔸Individual parchment certificates will be colour laser printed for this course.
🔸£20 fees to cover the certificates and other costs should be paid from now please via your instructor. The funds from this course will be used to purchase training fi****ms for all general Vault classes and VMAD if possible.
🔸The trauma first aid content in this course will also be rolled out to black belt students and will form part of the Vault black belt grading going forward. Conversion courses for existing black belts will begin shortly at no cost.
🔸Anyone who has had any interaction with serious violence/trauma is asked to message this page in the strictest confidence please before attending.
🔸A specific C19 risk assessment has been completed to allow this course to run. Joining instructions will be sent to everyone attending.

There is a groundhog day hosted by Glyn at Hollywood leisure centre on 19 September. First class is 9AM-1 second class 1.30-5.30, each class is usually around 30 pounds. These training days are well worth it & always good craic, hope to see you there. For more info either contact me or Glyn.

All Vault,
2020 has of course been unprecedented. Not for the pain but for the resilience.
Master Instructor Stephen Fairfield has left a lasting influence on all those who were lucky enough to meet him. This legacy will also persist in the form of an annual Master Fairfield Award to a Vault student who has succeeded against hardship showing the grit and determination balanced with good nature that Stevie would be proud of.
We are all proud of the resilience Vault students have demonstrated in rising to meet the challenge of a pandemic lockdown through its various stages. The Vault ethos VIRES EX ADVERSIS (strength from adversity) was more than met head-on. This is what sets you and Vault apart.
Thank you for supporting each other and allowing us to confront C19 and literally lead the way across the UK and Ireland delivering safe and legal training under the restrictions.
The end is in sight. On to 2021:
The Vault Charity BBQ, next year supporting a cancer charity, will begin with a workshop training day to polish you all back up to speed. This will cover strikes, grappling, groundwork, blades and fi****ms with workstations on each.
2021 will see Vault ballistically move forwards. A pressure has been building this year that will vent this next. Many, many hours have been invested in evolving class and course content.
VMAD has heavily evolved from the prototype last January. A 2-minute trailer video is soon to be released after lockdown conditions ease sufficiently to allow more filming. Watch this space.
Other specialist courses are also in planning to be run in 2021.
VSAD has been tasked to restructure brown and black belt gradings. All belt holders will be subject to these new measures and will be expected to meet these standards. Conversion courses for will be run free of charge.
Vault will continue to operate at ‘Phase One’ until regulations allow realistic physical training to resume. The very second we are able to change our operating phase you’ll know about it.
