It seems there’s a real togetherness with the group this year and it’s looking really positive.

Lauren Crellin spoke to us about her first Lincoln Women goal in our Women’s FA Cup debut, life in red and leaving long term home, Gainsborough.

πŸ—£οΈβ€ It’s always nice to get on the scoresheet, but for me the most important thing is helping the team in any way I can and, ultimately, getting the win.

After several years at Gainsborough, I felt it was the right time for a new challenge and a new environment. I was really looking forward to the opportunity to work with Tom and the coaching staff and to be part of the vision they have for the team and the wider Lincoln programme.

I’ve settled in really well. The girls are a great group of people, both on and off the pitch, and they’ve made the transition really easy. I’m really enjoying it and hopefully this is the first of many good moments to come.”
