We had a 3 man tournament at Whitley Bay Football Club on Friday 9 January. Instead of playing in the icy cold boardroom, we were given the luxury of the cosy warm bar at the back. This had the benefit of a few bystanders showing an interest in the games.

We had a small tournament on Friday 5 December at the Seahorse Pub, Whitley Bay Football Club, between Dan, Jeff and Nigel. It was a good opportunity for Jeff to teach/remind Dan and Nigel about the finer details of the rules.

We had a great evening's subbuteo at the Seahorse Pub, Whitley Bay Football Club, on Friday 7 November. Eight players competed - with two groups of 4 players following by a head-to-head play-off for the final positions. The winner was Ben, defeating Nick, in a shoot-out.

Sorry for the absence of posts in recent months. For those who don't know, Chris Kaberry, who managed this page, and was the motivator and organiser behind North Shields Subbuteo Table Football, passed away in July following an illness. He was a keen and enthusiastic Subbuteo player. New players to the hobby were all welcomed with helpful tips and encouragement. He will be missed but the club will be continuing - as he would have wished.
