Hi everyone! Just a polite reminder that our Summer School show is tomorrow at John Spence High School THIS FRIDAY 24th JULY 2026 at 16:00pm & 18:00pm. Tickets are available on the door, but it will be cash only. Thank you! 😊⭐️

Shows are 4pm & 6pm and tickets are £5 each 😁

This week, we’ve shed more than a few tears as we’ve said goodbye to our much-loved Assistant Teacher, Tillie 💙

After the summer holidays, Tillie will be taking the next exciting step in her journey as she heads off to study at Laine Theatre Arts to pursue her dream of a career in dance.

We couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved. Watching her grow into the incredible dancer, role model and teacher she is today has been such a privilege. She has inspired so many of our students, who have learned so much from her over the years, and they are going to miss her more than words can say.

Although we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we know she’s going to achieve amazing things, and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way. Good luck, Tillie, we are so proud of you! 💫

As we are heading towards the end of this term I would like to thank all of our wonderful teachers for their hard work, dedication and inspiration to our students. 💝 A huge Thank you and well done to our students who have worked so hard - exams, competitions, Panto and our amazing biennial show! Congratulations to our newly qualified teachers and to those who have taken further qualifications! Finally Thank you to our parents for believing in us and trusting us to give your precious children(sometimes!😬) the dance training and fun they deserve! Classes finish this Saturday until 1st September. We have our annual summer school next week so be prepared for lots of hard work and laughs! Have a great summer!🌞

AMERICAN PATROL 🫡

Tap is becoming a dying art, with many dance schools no longer giving it the time and priority it deserves.

But we believe that every dancer should be as versatile as possible. Being an all-round performer means having an understanding of every style, and tap is one of the most valuable foundations a dancer can have.

Tap develops rhythm, musicality, timing, coordination, precision, intricate footwork, and the ability to truly listen to and interpret music. These are skills that transfer into every other genre of dance.

We’re incredibly proud to continue offering a high standard of tap training at our school, keeping this amazing art form alive for the next generation.

They stepped right out of their comfort zones, got mic’d up and were true triple threats on stage! 🎭🎤💃

For some, it was a little daunting and definitely pushed them beyond what felt comfortable, but they rose to the challenge and absolutely shone on stage. Watching their confidence grow throughout the process has been so rewarding.
